Wrestling camps for kids should cost the same, right? Why are different prices listed for different wrestling camps?
Each of our wrestling camps are designed to accommodate certain sets of athletes with varying ages and skill levels. Because of that, one wrestling camp may require more staff or materials then another, making it more costly to run. However, wrestling camp discounts are available that affect pricing, such as our date-sensitive registration discounts:-Register for a wrestling camp before March 1st, and receive $100 off!
-Register for a wrestling camp before May 15th and receive $50 off!
US Camps encourages all interested athletes to participate our wrestling camps. While team discounts, individual site discounts, and scholarships are applicable, they will not be combined—only one discount per registration application will be applied.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Participation in a wrestling camp can be paid with a Visa or MasterCard credit card, through personal checks, or money orders. If registering your child or team for wrestling camps through the mail, we request that you do not send cash. US Camps is not responsible for cash payment sent through the mail, should it be lost or stolen.
Do the commuter wrestling camps have overnight accommodations available?
Although overnight accommodations or dorms are not offered for commuting wrestling camp participants, it is important to US Camps that each athlete and their family may attend clinics and stay comfortably. Because of that, we do try to provide options available in the area for participants and their families. In fact, some local hotels offer discounts for wrestlers taking part in camp. You can find a list of all hotels providing discounted pricing on your specific wrestling camp location page!
Do the wrestling camps include lunch for campers attending a commuter camp?
US Camps does not provide any meals for commuter wrestling camp participants. However, we do encourage athletes to bring sack lunches, drinks, or any other snacks they may want during camp.
Can I watch my son or daughter during their wrestling camp?
As any parent of an athlete knows, truly dedicating oneself to a sport is a big commitment—not just by the child, but by their family as well! Keeping this in mind, US Camps not only welcomes parents to our wrestling camps, we highly encourage you to stay during the sessions. It’s fun to watch, and you may even get to participate!
